Broncos to Tangle with Warriors in Round 2 of WHL Playoffs

Swift Current Broncos News Release
The Swift Current Broncos won't have to go far for their second-round opponent as they'll be taking on the Moose Jaw Warriors for a spot in the Eastern Conference Final.
Both teams are coming off four-game sweeps of their first-round opponents. The Broncos knocking off the Lethbridge Hurricanes, while the Warriors took out the Brandon Wheat Kings in the first round.
The schedule for the second-round matchup is as follows:
Game 1: Broncos @ Warriors - April 12 - 7 p.m. - Moose Jaw Events Centre
Game 2: Broncos @ Warriors - April 13 - 7 p.m. - Moose Jaw Events Centre
Game 3: Warriors @ Broncos - April 16 - 7 p.m. - InnovationPlex
Game 4: Warriors @ Broncos - April 17 - 7 p.m. - InnovationPlex

Tickets:
Tickets for games three and four of the series in Swift Current will go on sale to the General Public at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 8. Season ticket holders will have until Thursday, April 11 at 5 p.m. to secure their seats for those two games. We encourage season ticket holders to set up their online account so they will have their tickets for all games moving forward. Tickets for the public are available at tickets.scbroncos.com or by going into the Stable during regular office hours.
The Matchup:
The Broncos and the Warriors met a total of six times in the regular season this year, with each team winning three times, once each on the road as well. The Broncos scored 24 goals in the season series, while the Warriors scored 24 as well. The Broncos powerplay was 3/18 in the season series, while the Moose Jaw powerplay was 6/21.
Luke Mistelbacher led the Broncos in scoring with three goals and four assists for seven points. Josh Filmon and Rylan Gould each had six points through the six games. For the Warriors, Atley Calvert and Jagger Firkus each had 10 points through six games.
Fan Busses:
Fan busses are planned for Games 1 and 2 of the series on April 12 and 13. There is a plan to have two different fan busses, one of which is to be "family friendly". If you are interested, please call The Stable at 306-773-1509.
