Bringing in the New Year - Hurricanes Preseason Schedule

Lethbridge Hurricanes News Release
Lethbridge, AB - The Western Hockey League has announced the finalized Exhibition schedule for the 2008-2009 season. The Lethbridge Hurricanes - the 2008 WHL Eastern Conference Champions will open their WHL exhibition season on the road with a September 5th game against the Saskatoon Blades. The Canes will play three games in three nights (Sept.5/08 vs. Saskatoon, Sept.6/08 vs. Prince Albert, Sept.7/08 vs. Moose Jaw) in Saskatoon as part of the Blades' Preseason tournament.
Lethbridge will then make the trip through the rockies to take on the Kootenay Ice on September 12th in Cranbrook before returning to Lethbridge on Saturday, September 13th for their only home game of the preseason. The last time these teams met at the ENMAX Centre was in the series clinching Game Five of the WHL Eastern Conference Semi Final series.
