Americans Announce Full 2008-09 Pre-Season Schedule

Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today the team's full 2008-09 pre-season schedule.
The exhibition season features two separate tournament appearances for Tri-City, as the Americans start the pre-season portion of their schedule with the 5th annual Everett Silvertips Pre-Season Tournament, scheduled from Aug. 29-Aug. 31 at Comcast Arena in Everett. It will be Tri-City's second consecutive visit to the Silvertips' tournament and their third since the 2004 season.
The Americans will then return home and prepare to host the Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament, scheduled for Sept. 4-7 at Toyota Center in Kennewick. The Tournament will field all five U.S. Division teams for the third consecutive year and feature a new Thursday afternoon game.
Finally, the Americans and Silvertips will compete in a home-and-home exhibition series, starting on Friday, September 12 in Everett and concluding on Saturday, September 13 in Tri-Cities.
