
Sexsmith Invited To World Jr. Team Summer Camp

The Vancouver Giants congratulate goaltender TYSON SEXSMITH on being invited to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team Development Camp. Sexsmith is one of 45 players from across the country who will take part in the camp July 25-29 in Ottawa, Ontario.
Sexsmith attended Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence Goaltending Camp in Calgary, Alberta earlier this month. The native of Priddis, Alberta attended Hockey Canada's National Jr. Team Development Camp last year.
The 19 year-old netminder has completed three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Giants. Last season, he led all WHL goalies in goals against average (1.89) and shut-outs (9) while posting an overall record of 43-11-2-6. Sexsmith was drafted in the third round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks (91st overall).
