The Kansas City Brigade finished the eight-game home schedule of its inaugural season with an average attendance of 15,234, the third-highest total for a Kansas City expansion team in the city's rich sports history. In 1962 the Kansas City Chiefs, then of the American Football League, had an average attendance of 22,201. The Kansas City Athletics, the first Major League Baseball team in Kansas City, averaged 18,300 in 1955.

According to available statistics on the sports attendance database www.kenn.com/sports, fourteen major-league and minor-league teams have played in the city in the last 51 years. The database does not provide information on the Knights (ABA), Explorers (WTT), Sizzlers, or some other teams.
