Brian Butch Added To NBA D-League All-Star Team

(Bakersfield, Calif. - February 10, 2010) - The Bakersfield Jam is proud to announce that standout forward Brian Butch has been added to the roster of the NBA D-League's West team.
Butch was already scheduled to participate in the Haier Shooting Stars competition during the 2010 NBA D-League Dream Factory Friday Night, and will now replace Idaho's Anthony Tolliver (who was a Gatorade Call-Up to the Golden State Warriors) in the Saturday afternoon All-Star Game.
Bakersfield's leading scorer and rebounder since joining the team in mid-December, Butch has averaged 16.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 blocks for the Jam. He exploded for a season-high 31 points - to go with 12 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks - in a January 16 battle with the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
Butch will travel to Dallas with teammate Blake Ahearn, who will participate in the NBA D-League Three-Point Shootout.
