T-Birds To Hold NBA Development League All-Star Game Watch Party At Spectators

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Feb. 10, 2010 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds will be holding an All-Star Watch Party at Spectators Sports Bar and Grill for the NBA Development League All-Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 13. The game will begin at 1:00 pm, and all appetizers and entrees will be buy one get one 50% off during the game.
Carlos Powell of the Thunderbirds will be participating for the Western Conference All-Star team during the game. On the season Powell leads the T-Birds in scoring (22.6), assists (4.8), steals (1.7), and minutes per game (38.9).
Spectators is the official home of the T-Birds Coach's Show and is located at 5850 Eubank Blvd NE. Door prizes will be available for fans in attendance during the game.
In addition to the NBA D-League All-Star game, the T-Birds will also be represented during NBA Development League Dream Factory Friday Night presented by Haier. Tony Danridge will compete in the Slam Dunk competition and Powell will compete in the NBA D-League Haier Shooting Stars competition. Fans can watch these competitions live on NBA.com beginning at 8 pm.
