Brandon Warner Retires from Komets

Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets announced today that defenseman Brandon Warner has decided to retire from pro hockey and has taken a job with SDI in Fort Wayne.

Warner skated the past four seasons with the Komets and was a member of the Komets for three straight championships during 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10.

With Warner's retirement, the Komet roster stands at 20 players including 12 forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders.

The Komets will host the Evansville IceMen this Saturday at 7:30pm. Tickets for all Komet home games are on sale at the Coliseum Ticket Office and online at TicketMaster .
