Harrisburg Senators News Release


The Harrisburg Senators scored four times in the second inning but that's all they scored in their 5-4 loss to the Bowie Baysox Friday night at FNB Field. The 7,723 fans on hand were ready to let go in the ninth inning when the first two batters reached for Harrisburg, but the Sens couldn't push across the tying or winning runs. Bowie scored a run in the first and two in the second before the Sens tallied four in the second to take the lead. The Baysox tied the game in the fourth and took the lead in the eighth.

The Big Play

Bowie took the lead in the eighth after Max Wagner walked with one out, he scored on a two-out single by Silas Ardoin. The walk to Wagner was the only walk the Senators issued in the game.

Filibusters

Harrisburg went 4-for-16 with runners in scoring position... Harrisburg stranded seven batters in scoring position... Brady House and JT Arruda both had three hits in the game... The game ended with the tying and winning runs in scoring position.

The Senators and Bowie Baysox play game five of their season-ending six-game series Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
