Bonni, McKenna recalled to Omaha

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that goalie Mike McKenna, and defenseman Ryan Bonni were recalled to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the AHL.

Goalie Mike McKenna is making his second trip to Omaha this season. In his previous stint with the Knights, McKenna appeared in one game. This season with the Wranglers McKenna is 14-3-6 with a 2.32 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. The St. Louis native is ranked among the league leaders in most statistical categories including goals against and save percentage. McKenna was named the starter for the ECHL National Conference All-Star team this season. This is McKenna's third stint in the AHL this season as he spent time with the Milwaukee Admirals earlier this season.

Defenseman Ryan Bonni has played six games with Omaha this season without registering a point. In 31 games with the Wranglers, Bonni has two goals and 25 assists for 27 points. Bonni's 25 assists are second on the team and rank fourth in the ECHL among defensemen. A 1997 draft pick of the Vancouver Canucks, Bonni played 3 NHL games during the 1999-2000 season.

Friday, February 2nd, the Wranglers host the Toledo Storm at 7:05 pm. The first 2,000 fans receive a Wranglers' projector pen, compliments of Case by Case Document Archiving Solutions. Saturday, February 3rd, the Wranglers host Toledo for NASCAR night at 7:05 pm. Las Vegas will wear jerseys that resemble Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s #8 car. The Budweiser sponsored car will be in the concourse for fans to see throughout the game. Prior to the game, fans may attend the Port of Subs pre-game party from 4:30 - 6:30 pm in the concourse of the Orleans Arena.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
