Greenville Drive News Release
The Greenville Bombers will take on the Asheville Tourists (Colorado Rockies) on Sunday, July 3 at 7:05 p.m. at Municipal Stadium.
The game had been originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m. but the team elected to move the game back one hour to accomodate a post-game fireworks show.
"The response we have received early in the season from fans regarding our fireworks shows has been tremendous," Team President and General Manager Rich Mozingo said. "We welcome the opportunity to host back-to-back shows on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate our nation's freedom. This weekend's shows will be nothing short of spectacular."
The Bombers continue their homestand on Friday against the Tourists after winning by a final of 9-5 on Thursday night at Municipal Stadium. The Bombers currently sit in first place in the Southern Division with a 5-2 record.
