
Boise Hawks Set Multiple Attendance Records on Opening Weekend

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise Hawks kicked off the 2015 season with a five-game home stand at Memorial Stadium that featured some of the largest crowds in over 10 years.
The Hawks sold out the first three games of the series for the first time since 2004 and the opening night crowd (3,427), was the largest home opening crowd since 2012 (3,442).
Fans flocked to the ballpark and created an electric atmosphere for the season's first home stand, which featured crowds of 3,000 plus in the first four games for the first time in 11 years.
"We couldn't have asked for a better opening weekend," said Jeff Eiseman, Hawks team owner. "The crowds and the energy in the ballpark were fantastic. We're thrilled with the support the people of Boise have shown us and we're excited to see what the remainder of the season will bring."
In total, 15,989 fans cheered on the Hawks through the first five games. It was the largest opening home stand attendance since 2008 (16,677).
The Hawks hit the road for an eight game road trip beginning tonight against the Eugene Emeralds. The Hawks return home for a three game series on July 1-3 against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Tickets are available at Boisehawks.com or by calling 322-5000.
