Bogusevic Named I.L. Batter of the Week

On Tuesday (May 5) in Louisville, Bogusevic went 4-6 with a double, HR, four RBI and three runs -- setting Lehigh Valley 2015 single-game highs in hits (4*), total bases (8), RBI (4*) and runs (3*) .

On Friday (May 8), he had a walk-off, two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning for the game-winner in a 4-3 victory over Gwinnett.

On Saturday (May 9), he extended his hitting streak to a career-high 12 games. Though it snapped on Sunday, the streak is the third longest in the IL this season behind a pair of 13-gamers by ROC's James Beresford (April 22-May 9) and CHA's Carlos Sanchez (April 12-26).

The Oak Lawn, Ill., native becomes the first Pig to win the award this season and the first since June 5, 2013 (C John Suomi). All-time, there have been just six other Pigs to earn this honor: Andy Tracy (3x: 6/30/08, 8/11/08, 6/22/09), Michael Taylor (8/17/09), John Mayberry (4/19/10), Jeff Larish (6/6/10), John Suomi (6/5/12) and Cesar Hernandez (7/9/13).
