Blues Recall Goaltender Bacashihua

Peoria, IL (November 15, 2006) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that goaltender Jason Bacashihua has been recalled from the Peoria Rivermen, the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

Bacashihua, 24, has skated in seven games for Peoria this season, posting a 1-5-1 record along with a 3.90 goals against average and a .859 save percentage.

The Rivermen visit the Grand Rapids Griffins Friday, November 17 in the first of four meetings at Van Andel Arena this season. Game time is 6:00 p.m. CST. On Saturday, November 18, Peoria returns home to welcome the Milwaukee Admirals to Carver Arena at 7:00 p.m. The first 1,500 fans will receive an Advance Auto Parts/Rivermen-branded hat. On Sunday, November 19, the Rivermen make their way to Chicago to face off against the rival Wolves. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
