Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
HAGERSTOWN, MD - It was a rainy night in Hagerstown, and the Lakewood BlueClaws (35-33) dropped their 3rd straight to the Hagerstown Suns (34-34) on Sunday night by a score of 4-2. For the 3rd straight day the BlueClaws bullpen let a lead slip awaylate, this time with Hagerstown scoring 3 times in the bottom of the 6th inning. Lakewood now trails the series 3-1, and is just 3-9 in Hagerstown this year.
Hagerstown jumped out to 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the 1st inning off Lakewod starter Ervis Manzanillo. Lakewood scored 1 run in the 4th and a run in the 5th to take a 2-1 lead, but it was just not meant to be.
