Blue Jackets and McDonald's Night with the Bombers

Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL today announced a special promotion with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL for their game vs. the Reading Royals on Saturday, February 18th at 7:00 pm.

The first 1,500 fans in attendance that night will receive a Blue Jackets Poster, but that's not all. Stinger, the Blue Jackets mascot will also be there to team up with Bucky. Fans will have a chance to win a Rick Nash autographed stick and an authentic Columbus Blue Jackets jersey as well.

Brian Engblom, (formerly of ESPN) the Blue Jackets color television analyst will be there to sign autographs during the first intermission on the flight deck as well.

Brian Engblom joined the Montreal Canadiens as a defenseman during the 1977 Stanley Cup Playoffs and went on to spend five-plus seasons with the club. During that time, he helped Montreal capture three consecutive Stanley Cup championships (1977-79) and earned NHL Second Team All-Star honors in 1981-82.

During the past four years, Engblom served as an analyst for ABC Sports on its national broadcasts of the NHL. He also provided color analysis for ESPN and ESPN2, NHL telecasts from 1993-04 and was the ice-level reporter for ESPN's "National Hockey Night" telecasts from 1995-04. Prior to joining ESPN and ABC, he worked as a color analyst for the Los Angeles Kings on XTRA-Radio from 1991-95.

Also on Saturday, the Bombers will be hosting a live jersey auction immediately following the game. The players will be wearing specially designed McDonald's jerseys, with proceeds from the auction going to the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton. Every fan in attendance will receive a coupon for a free spicy chicken sandwich courtesy of McDonald's.

The Bombers return to the ice at the Nutter Center this Friday night February 17th, at 7:00 pm vs. the Reading Royals.
