Blue Holds off Legends, 102-94

FRISCO, Texas - The Oklahoma City Blue picked up a 102-94 road win over the Texas Legends on Friday at Dr. Pepper Arena behind a career-high 22 points from Maurice Sutton on 11-of-12 shooting.

Marquis Teague scored 21 points with five assists and four rebounds and Josh Huestis totaled 15 points, four assists and three boards. Talib Zanna put together 13 points and six rebounds and Chris Singleton tallied seven points, six rebounds, three assists and five blocked shots in his Blue debut.

The Blue and Legends opened the night with a back-and-forth first quarter, finishing the frame tied at 20. Oklahoma City went on a 9-0 run late in the second to head into the half up 49-41.

Oklahoma City held Texas to 27.3 percent shooting in the third period to build its lead to 71-58 through 36 minutes. The Blue led by as many as 21 points before Texas went on a late run to pull within six with 29 seconds to play. Oklahoma City's defense held off the Legends in the final seconds to clinch the win.

Shooting 38-of-75 (50.7 percent), the Blue (19-15) improved to 10-0 this season when making over 50 percent of its field goals.

Texas (16-16) was led by Renaldo Balkman's 21 points, 15 rebounds and four steals.
