Blue Comes up Short in Idaho

BOISE, Idaho - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Idaho Stampede, 103-96, on Tuesday at CenturyLink Arena. Oklahoma City Thunder forward Josh Huestis scored 15 points with five rebounds and three steals while fellow assignment Mitch McGary finished with 13 points and seven boards.

Dwight Buycks led the Blue's scoring efforts with 17 points alongside eight rebounds and three assists. Talib Zanna posted 15 posted and 10 rebounds and Dakari Johnson added 13 points and six boards.

The Blue opened the game by outpacing the Stampede 32-18 in the first quarter, holding Idaho to 32 percent shooting in the frame. The Stampede mounted a comeback, outscoring the Blue 31-20 in the third quarter to hold a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter where it held on for the win.

Oklahoma City (16-27) collected 45 rebounds and seven steals.

Idaho (17-28) was led by Treveon Graham with 31 points and eight rebounds.

The Blue concludes its road trip with back-to-back games against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Friday and Saturday. Both games are scheduled for 9 p.m. CT and can be streamed on OklahomaCityBlue.com.
