Trenton Thunder News Release

The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced a roster move prior to Saturday's split double-header against the Portland Sea Dogs.

LHP Jeremy Bleich (Rest) has been transferred from the 7-day Disabled List to the Thunder active roster. The southpaw last pitched for the Thunder May 23rd at Richmond and struck out a career-high 10 batters over a career-high tying 7.0 shutout innings. For his efforts in that ballgame, the Stanford University product was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 19-25.

This season, the 26-year old is 4-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 10 starts and is expected to start Game 1 Saturday afternoon.

With the move, Trenton's roster is at the Eastern League maximum 25 active players.
