The Kelowna Rockets fell to the Kamloops Blazers for the second consecutive night, after dropping last night's decision in overtime the Blazers dealt the Rockets a 3-2 loss tonight in Kamloops.

GAME SUMMARY

Matteo Koci's (2) shot from the point went through traffic and beat Rockets starter Jake Pilon glove-hand side 2:26 into the game. Seconds after the Rockets successfully killed off a penalty Josh Kelly (1) tapped in Nathan Behm's initial shot at 7:37.

The Rockets made a goaltender change, putting in Jari Kykkanen 1:50 into the second period after Andrew Thomson(9) from below the goal line tucked the puck around Pilon's pad and into the net. Standing in front of the Blazers net while on the power play, Dylan Wightman (9) pounced on the Andew Cristall rebound to chip away at the Blazers lead with 39 seconds to go in the middle stanza.

Kelowna made it a one-goal game 1:06 into the third period, Tij Iginla (32) was able to get around a defender cutting to the left faceoff circle where he beat goaltender Dylan Ernst. With the Rockets net empty, Marek Rocak made a cross-ice feed from the Rockets blue line that was intercepted by Jordan Keller. As Keller put the goal into the wide-open net the referees signaled no goal and the Blazers were called for too many men. The Rockets were unable to capitalize on the ensuing power play.
