Blades Send Bafaro to Vancouver for Draft Pick

Saskatoon, Sask. - The Saskatoon Blades made their second trade of the afternoon on Wednesday, sending 18-year-old defenceman Seth Bafaro to the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a 5th round draft pick in 2021.

Bafaro was originally drafted by the Tri-City Americans in 2015 and played 31 games there before being acquired by the Blades in July of 2017. He has since appeared in 85 regular season games with the Blades. This season, Bafaro has 4 goals, 3 assists, and 12 penalty minutes in 27 games.

In total, the Revelstoke, B.C., native has played 116 games in the Western Hockey League between the Blades and Giants, compiling 7 goals, 11 assists, and 70 penalty minutes along the way.

The Blades wish Seth all the best in Vancouver and thank him for his contributions during his time as a Blade.
