Florida Everblades News Release

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that forward Danick Bouchard has been recalled to the American Hockey League by the Lake Erie Monsters.

Bouchard, who re-joined the Everblades from the AHL's Albany River Rats for last night's game, heads back to the AHL after scoring two goals in Florida's 8-2 win over Charlotte last night. The 22-year-old rookie has scored 25 points (15g, 10a) in 32 games with the Everblades this season and currently leads the team in game-winning goals with five and leads all rookies in that category. The Quebec City native has no points in two AHL games with Albany this year.

After missing most of last season due to injury, Bouchard is in his first full professional season after wrapping up a five-year junior career with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Bouchard finished his junior career with 197 points in 292 games from 2002-2007.
