LET'S PLAY TWO: Today will be the Bisons fourth doubleheader of the season: three caused by rain and one scheduled. Of their four victories in doubleheaders this year, three have come via a shutout.

IN THE YARD: Ryan Ludwick's home run on Wednesday snapped a pretty impressive streak for Bisons' pitchers. Buffalo had not allowed a home run in 76.0 consecutive innings. Now, the Herd has allowed just two home runs in 128.0 innings of work. Their 23 home runs allowed as a team are the fewest given up by any team in the International League.

DOUBLE DUTY: Infielder Andy Marte collected his 11th double of the season Wednesday. That ties him with Jason Dubois for second among current Bisons. Franklin Gutierrez leads the Herd with 14 doubles this season (T5th in the IL).

SUPER JOE: Infielder Joe Inglett collected a pair of singles Wednesday to raise his average to .313. If you add his recent work with Double-A Akron, Inglett is hitting.414 (53-128) with 12 doubles, four home runs, 13RBI and 28 runs scored in 2006.
