Today's Game

Tonight the Bisons host the Toledo Mud Hens in the second game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd struck first in the series with last night's 6-4 win and is now 3-1 on their current seven-game homestand. The Bisons are tied with three other clubs for the most home wins (12) in the International League.

vs. the Mud Hens

The Bisons were 3-5 against the Mud Hens last season. This series has been ruled by the home team in recent years, as the Herd is 45-34 against Toledo in Buffalo and just 21-31 at Fifth Third Field. The Bisons have not won a season series against the Hens since 2008 (5-3)

Randy Wolf

RHP RANDY WOLF has not allowed an earned run in any of his last three starts (20.0 IP). On Saturday in Norfolk, Wolf threw 114 pitches over 7.0 shutout innings. He allowed just four hits with three strikeouts in the start. Wolf has induced more doubleplays (9) than any other pitcher in the IL and leads the circuit with a 1.00 ERA. He has also held opponents to a .036 (1-28) average with runners in scoring position.

Andy Burns

INF ANDY BURNS owns the second longest active hit streak in the International League. Burns has hit .278 (10-36) with four doubles and three RBI since the stretch began on May 6. Burns has reached base in 20 of his first 23 games at the Triple-A level.

Home Runs

The home run drought ended last night as OF BRAD GLENN hit a two-run shot in first inning. The Herd went 616 at-bats between blasts, spanning from April 25 to last night. The Bisons now have nine total homers on the season. The team is 7-0 in games they've hit home runs.

Brad Glenn

OF BRAD GLENN has produced multi-hit performances in each of his last four games. The slugger has averaged .533 (8-15) with three extra-base hits and five RBI over the last four games. Glenn has hit .333 (14-42) overall in 11 May contests with a .524 slugging pct.

Bisons Bits

INF MATT HAGUE hit streak ended last night at an IL-best 14 games (.333, 19-27)...The Bisons placed INF MUNENORI KAWASAKI on the disabled list yesterday, retroactive to May 12.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (17-18) lost in Houston on Thursday by a 6-4 score. The Astros scored four in the seventh to rally for the win. Former Bison Drew Hutchison struck out nine in 6.0 innings in a no-decision. Toronto takes on the Astros again tonight at 8:10 p.m.
