Today's Game
This afternoon, the Bisons host the Toledo Mud Hens in the final game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). The Bisons can earn a series win over the Hens today up 2-1 in the series. The Herd took a three-game series from Durham to begin the homestand. Buffalo is tied with Charlotte for the most home wins in the IL this season (13).
vs. the Mud Hens
The Bisons are 2-1 against the Mud Hens this year. Today, Buffalo can earn their first series win over Toledo since taking three of four from the Hens in 2011. These two teams will meet again at Fifth Third Field next week for a four-game series, May 21-24.
Daniel Norris
LHP DANIEL NORRIS makes his third start of the year with the Bisons today. The southpaw was victorious on Monday with 6.1 innings of work against Durham. In that outing, Norris allowed four runs (two earned) and struck out seven. He has yielded just one hit (1-9) to left-handed batters over his first two starts with Buffalo.
Big win
The Bisons put up a season-high 16 runs in last night's victory while matching a 2015 best with 18 hits. The team also set new season hits with six doubles, three home runs and nine extra-base hits. All nine Bisons batters in the lineup had a hit with OF BRAD GLENN becoming the sixth Bison to record a four-hit game. OF CHRIS DICKERSON is the first Herd batter to drive in five runs in a game this year.
Pitching Staff
The Bisons continue to lead the International League with a 2.46 team ERA. The ERA is .20 lower than the next closest team (2.66 -Norfolk). The staff has walked the fewest batters (98) in the IL and has allowed just 12 home runs (2nd fewest in league). The team has yielded only 99 runs through 36 games this year (2.75 per game).

INF LUKE SCOTT went 3-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in his Bisons debut...OF BRAD GLENN is 12 for his last 23 at the plate, good for a .522 average on the current homestand...INF MATT HAGUE had three hits and four RBI last night and now has 44 hits (5th in IL) and 22 RBI (T3rd in IL) on the year...The Bisons have three of the top 8 pitchers in the IL with LHP RANDY WOLF (1st, 1.10 ERA), LHP ANDREW ALBERS (5th, 2.34) and RHP SCOTT COPELAND (8th, 2.43).
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (17-21) lost their fourth straight game on Saturday, 6-5 to the Astros. Edwin Encarnacion hit his ninth home run of the season in the loss. Toronto takes on Houston again this afternoon at 2:10 p.m.
