TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons square off with the Louisville Bats in the second game of a four-game series from Louisville Slugger Field (7:05 p.m.). Tonight's contest is the second of an eight-game roadtrip for the Herd, with four in Louisville and four in Indianapolis. The Bisons look to bounce back after a 4-1 loss last night to the Bats.

vs. BATS: The Bisons are 3-2 against the Bats this season. Buffalo took three out of four games when they hosted Louisville at Coca-Cola Field, June 26-29. The Herd is 26-31 at Louisville Slugger Field since 1998.

MCHUGH : RHP COLLIN MCHUGH takes the mound tonight for his eighth start of the season with the Herd. In his last outing, McHugh allowed just three runs in six innings to Charlotte on July 20. It was his second consecutive quality start. McHugh has not yielded more than three earned runs in any of his last five starts.

BAXTER: OF MIKE BAXTER is 4-8 (.500) with 2RBI in the first two games of his MLB rehab assignment with the Herd. Baxter suffered a displaced right collarbone crashing into the wall on June 1 to make a catch and preserve Johan Santana's no-hitter.

ROSTER MOVES: RHP PEDRO BEATO and OF LUCAS DUDA have been officially added to the Bisons roster. Beato was 0-0 with a 10.38ERA in seven games with New York. Prior to his promotion on July 5, Beato went 3-2 with a 1.13ERA in 16 games with the Herd. Duda has spent the entire season with the Mets, hitting .241 (74-307) with 10 doubles, 12 home runs and 44RBI in 89 games. The slugger was with the Bisons for 108 games in 2010 and 2011, hitting .310 (122-393) with 31 doubles, 27 home runs and 77RBI.

BISONS BITS: C LUCAS MAY doubled and scored a run last night. Of his 45 hits this season, 22 have gone for extra bases (16 doubles, three triples, three home runs)...INF JOSH SATIN is third in the International League in on-base percentage (.404) and tied for fourth in base on balls (59)...RHP JENRRY MEJIA has made three consecutive scoreless appearances out of the Bisons bullpen. In his last 4.1 innings he has allowed four hits with two strikeouts.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (47-51) lost to the Nationals today by a score of 5-2. Former Bisons 1B IKE DAVIS hit his team-leading 16th home run of the season. RHP JEREMY HEFNER gave the Mets a quality start but fell to 1-4 on the season (6.0IP, 3H, 2R). Bisons All-Star MATT HARVEY makes his MLB debut tomorrow night in Arizona (9:40 p.m.).
