Potential SWB Yankees Playoff Games to be Played in Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY - All possible Empire State Yankees' post-season home games in 2012 will be played at Frontier Field in Rochester, New York. Rochester Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason made the announcement.

The Yankees are currently 58-46 and in first place in the International League North Division, a half game ahead of the second-place Pawtucket Red Sox.

Four teams advance to the IL postseason, including three division winners and one wild card.

Dates and times of possible Yankees' post-season home games are to be determined. An announcement will be made when that information becomes available. All tickets, however, will be sold at the Frontier Field box office, by calling (585) 423- WING (9464), or by visiting RedWingsBaseball.com.

The Yankees are playing 38 regular-season home games at Frontier Field in 2012 while their home of PNC Field in Moosic, Pennsylvania undergoes a season-long renovation. They have six home games remaining at Frontier Field, including a two- game series against Pawtucket July 30-31 and a four-game set against Indianapolis (Pirates) August 2-5.
