Bisons' Mastny Recalled To Cleveland

The Cleveland Indians announced Tuesday that they have recalled RHP Tom Mastny from the Buffalo Bisons Roster. The reliever will fill the roster spot opened when the Tribe placed closer Joe Borowski on the disabled list.

Mastny had a 6.75ERA in four games and 5.1 innings of work with the Bisons this year (9H, 5R, 4ER, 4BB, 9K). He spent the entire 2007 season with the Tribe, going 7-2 with a 4.68ERA in 51 relief outings. He will be in uniform for Cleveland's game against the Red Sox on Tuesday night.

The Bisons expect to fill their open roster spot before Wednesday's 1:05 p.m. game against the Syracuse Chiefs at Dunn Tire Park.
