Today's Game
This afternoon, the Bisons conclude their seven-game homestand, and four-game series with the Durham Bulls. The Herd will then have a scheduled off-day on Monday before heading to Louisville and Indianapolis. Buffalo will play three doubleheaders on the road trip (7/24 (LOU), 7/27 (IND), and 7/29 (IND)) as part of the postponed games at Coca-Cola Field in April.
Last Game: BUF 5, DUR 10
1B Rowdy Tellez belted two home runs in a losing effort on Saturday. Tellez was one of four Bison hitters to collect a multi-hit performance. INF Tim Lopes was responsible for the other two runs in the loss, going 2-3 with 2RBI on Saturday. RHP Brandon Cumpton lasted three innings in the start, taking the loss while giving up eight hits and six runs. A four-run fourth inning for Durham helped pace to team to 10 runs on 14 hits to secure the win.
Durham (2-4)
The Bisons and Bulls are meeting for their second, and final, series of the season. They last played on April 23-25 at DBAP in Durham, NC. The Herd took the last game of the series with a 5-2 victory. RHP Chris Rowley is the only active pitcher on the Bisons' roster to have made an appearance against the Bulls during the series in April. C Reese McGuire is 5-10 (.500AVG) in three games against the Bulls this series.
Today's Starter: RHP Sean Reid-Foley
RHP Sean Reid-Foley is making his twelfth start of the season for the Herd. Overall, the right hander is making his 20th start between AA (New Hampshire) and AAA. Reid-Foley is 4-0 in his last five starts, including a victory in his last start on 7/17 vs. Norfolk. He is tied for the team-lead in wins (6), and leads the pitching staff with 71 strikeouts.
Rowdy Tellez
1B Rowdy Tellez has already established a new career-high in home runs at AAA, and added two more on Saturday. Tellez now has 10HR, and four in his last four games. He also had four in June, with a pair in May after none in April. Tellez is now hitting .253 this season, he finished 2017 batting .222 with six home runs and 56RBI.
Gunnar Heidt
INF Gunnar Heidt had two hits in his first Triple-A game on Saturday. Heidt was promoted from New Hampshire (AA) on Thursday, and also collected his first RBI as a member of the Bisons with a fourth inning single that cashed in INF Gio Urshela.

Prior to Friday's game, INF Richard Urena was recalled by the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bisons' Bits
There have been eleven of the Blue Jays' 30 Top Prospects according to MLB.com play for the Bisons this season.....The Bisons now have 96 stolen bases this year, first in the IL and second amongst Triple-A teams (Colorado Springs, 126)...The last Bisons' walk-off win was on 5/31, vs. Columbus.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (45-52) have taken the first two games of their series with the Baltimore Orioles after a 4-1 win on Saturday. Ex-Bison starter RHP Marcus Stroman notched his third win of the season, thanks in part to seven strikeouts. Toronto goes for the sweep this afternoon with LHP J.A. Happ on the mound (1:07 p.m.). The Jays will welcome the Minnesota Twins to Rogers Centre for a three-game series starting tomorrow.
