Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons (3-2-3) defeated the Round Rock Express, 6-4, this afternoon at the Astros spring training facility in Kissimmee, FL.
Brian Slocum (1-1) earned the victory with five shutout innings. He struck out four and only allowed three hits to even his Spring record with the Herd (no walks).
INF Hector Luna got the start at shortstop and finished the game 2-4 with a home run (1) and three RBI. INF Keith Ginter chipped in three hits and two doubles (3-4, R).
The Bisons will return to Winter Haven, FL for an intrasquad game on Wednesday. The Herd will then face the Richmond Braves on Thursday for a 1:00 p.m. start.
There are just 9 days until the Bisons Home Opener against the Richmond Braves on Thursday, April 5 (3:05 p.m.) at Dunn Tire Park.
