The Buffalo Bisons today announced that RHP JEFF STEVENS has been promoted to the club from the Double-A Binghamton Mets.
Stevens was on the Bisons 2012 Opening Day Roster. In 22 appearances with the Herd this season, the righty is 0-1 with a 4.33ERA and 16 strikeouts in 27.0 innings of work (33H, 10BB). He has held left-handed hitters to a .231 (9-39) average against.
In six games with Binghamton, Stevens posted a 7.71ERA in 9.1 innings (11H, 9BB, 9K).
