Montgomery Biscuits News Release
The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following roster moves affecting Double-A Montgomery prior to their series opener against Huntsville on Monday night:
INF Drew Anderson reassigned to Charlotte (A+)...OF Cody Strait acquired by Tampa Bay and assigned to Montgomery [24 + 1]
The corresponding moves keep the Biscuits at the Southern League roster maximum of 24 active players. One player (Jason Perry) is currently on the Disabled List.
Strait will be assigned a uniform number upon his arrival in Montgomery.
