
Ortegano Joins M-Braves

Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - The Atlanta Braves made a couple of moves that affected the M-Braves Monday afternoon. LHP Jose Ortegano was promoted to AA Mississippi and LHP Tommy Palica was reassigned to High-A Myrtle Beach.
Ortegano was 4-5 with a 3.49 ERA through 21 games for the Pelicans. Palica was 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA through seven games for the M-Braves. Ortegano is scheduled to start for Mississippi tonight against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.
Mississippi's roster now has 24 active players with one player on the temporarily inactive list. An updated M-Braves roster is attached.
