Bell is batting .436 (17-39) with three homers and 13 RBI in 11 games since the all-star break and currently leads the Lookouts in home runs and RBI. Pitcher of the Week
MATT PETERSON, RHP, JACKSONVILLE SUNS
Peterson had the most productive week of the season by a Southern League reliever, recording four dominant saves to increase his league-leading total to 24. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Peterson earned saves in each of his four appearances last week, giving him five saves since the all-star break. The Alexandria, La. native faced just one batter over the minimum, throwing only 44 pitches in the process. He did not allow a hit last week and now has not surrendered a base hit in his last five appearances. On July 22, Peterson saved both games of a doubleheader sweep against West Tenn. Jacksonville swept the five-game series against the North Division-leading Diamond Jaxx and currently holds a one game edge over Birmingham in the South.
