HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Biscuits were handcuffed for six innings by right-hander Brandon Kintzler and shutout by the Huntsville Stars, 5-0, in game four of a five-game series on Tuesday night at Joe W. Davis Stadium.

Biscuits' starter Brandon Mann walked Yohannis Perez to lead off the second inning, setting up the first run of the ballgame for Huntsville. A batter later, Freddy Parejo ripped a double on one hop off the wall in left-center field to bring home Perez to give Huntsville a 1-0 lead.

Huntsville rallied with two outs to take control of the game in the fourth inning. Mann walked Parejo with one and Brett Lawrie singled behind him. Lawrie was thrown out on the back-end of an attempted double-steal, but Shane Justis contributed a two-out RBI single. Lorenzo Cain followed with an RBI double and Jonathan Lucroy capped a three-run inning with and RBI single that stretched the Stars' lead to 4-0.

Mann (6-8) departed after four innings to take the loss. He allowed four earned runs on eight hits, walking three and striking out two.

Ryan Reid entered in relief in the fifth and immediately got into trouble as the Stars loaded the bases with nobody out. Reid limited the damage to one run as Parejo bounced into a run-scoring double-play to put the Stars in front, 5-0.

Meanwhile, Kintzler (1-1) was outstanding through six innings of service. He blanked the Biscuits on just two hits to earn his first win at the Double-A level. He walked none and struck out a season-high eight.

Juan Sandoval worked two scoreless innings to bridge from Kintzler to the ninth inning. Wes Littleton entered and finished the ballgame with a scoreless inning as the Stars leveled the series at two games apiece. The bullpen followed Kintzler's eight strikeouts with seven of their own, recording a season-high 15 against the Biscuits.

The series finale is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Wednesday night at Joe W. Davis Stadium. RHP Brian Baker (5-5, 4.56) will make the start for the Biscuits against RHP Mark Holliman (7-7, 4.80) for the Stars.
