
Birmingham Falls to Raptors 905 on the Road 110-89

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, dropped the first game of a back-to-back against Raptors 905, 110-89, on Wednesday morning in Mississauga, Ontario.
Birmingham (2-12) led 49-46 at halftime, but Raptors 905 (6-4) outscored Birmingham 64-40 in the second half en route to its fourth consecutive victory.
Kelan Martin's 20 points paced the Squadron, while Zylan Cheatham pulled in 11 rebounds but scored just four points on 2-of-5 shooting. Affiliate player Kira Lewis, Jr. notched 11 points in 33 minutes of action in his first regular season game for Birmingham.
Sterling Brown led 905 with 20 points off the bench and Christian Koloko notched a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards.
Birmingham and Raptors 905 return to the court tomorrow for the second game of the back-to-back. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. CT from Paramount Fine Foods Center in Mississauga and the game can be seen locally on My68 WABM or nationally on ESPN+.
