'Birds Bounce Back with Big Win

Troy, N.Y. - Game two of three against Tri-City saw history come and go on the IronBirds front. Adam Hall tied a franchise record for hitting streak, Robert Neustrom nearly had a cycle and Alexis Torres had the second most RBIs in a game in IronBird history.

TORRES TANKS ONE: With Adam Hall on first in the first inning, Alexis Torres jacked his second homer of the season to make it 2-0 IronBirds, it would be the first two of six RBIs

TWO FOR TRI: Two infield hits for Tri-City and a stolen base put two in scoring position. Andy Pineda scored on an error and Orlando Marquez's RBI groundout scored another.

FOUR-ES: Alexis Torres brought home more in the third. His double scored Alfredo Gonzalez and Robert Neustroom after their hits. Torres scored on drop third strike and made it 5-2 IronBirds.

NEUSTROM JOINS IN: Robert Neustrom drilled his fourth homer of the year in the fifth inning. It was a two run shot that scored Adam Hall and made it 7-2 'Birds.

In the 6th Nick Horvath scored on an error and then Neustrom plated another with his RBI single.

MORE-ES Torres wasn't done. In the same inning he grabbed another RBI double that scored two more. Through five and a half Aberdeen led 11-2.

RUNS ON RAMIRO: In the bottom of the sixth inning Ramiro Rodriguez drilled a double off of Hector Guance to plate two more runs and make it 11-4. The game would close with that score
