Big Win Coming Sunday for a Lucky 67's Fan

Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA-GATINEAU - A fan in the stands at the Ottawa 67's outdoor game this Sunday is going to win what promises to be a club record 50/50 prize thanks to a gift from an anonymous donor. The donor contributed $10,000 to kick-start the 50/50 draw and support its charitable partner, The OSEG Foundation. In Ontario, 50% of revenues generated in a 50/50 draw go to the winning ticket holder and the other 50% goes to a registered charitable organization.

"We're thrilled and extremely grateful," said Janice Barresi, Executive Director of the OSEG Foundation. "The donor felt that by seeding the 50/50 draw, more fans would be encouraged to buy tickets and thereby increase the contribution to the Foundation. It's a great and generous idea and it's one more reason for fans to come to experience an outdoor game on Sunday at junior hockey prices."

The 67's host the Gatineau Olympics this Sunday at 3:00 PM in The Stadium at TD Place in a regular season game that counts in the standings for both teams. The game was made possible by the National Hockey League, which is hosting the NHL 100 Classic between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators on Saturday evening. Tickets for Sunday's 67's game are available for $15 and $20 at Ottawa67s.com, by calling 613.232.6767 X1 or in person at The Box Office at TD Place.
