JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Johan Rojas had three hits and drove in three as the BlueClaws topped Brooklyn 8-5 on Wednesday night at ShoreTown Ballpark. The BlueClaws trailed 4-0 before scoring four runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings.

Jersey Shore (17-28) snaps a two-game skid and levels their series with Brooklyn at one game apiece.

Trailing 4-0, the BlueClaws scored four times in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game. Jersey Shore got RBI singles from Uziel Viloria and Johan Rojas to make it 4-2. Ethan Wilson added another to make it 4-3 and a groundout from Nick Matera tied the game.

DJ Stewart doubled in a run to give Jersey Shore the lead in the sixth. Rojas, on a hit and run, then brought home two with a double to right-center. A SAC fly by Ethan Wilson made it 8-4.

Brooklyn opened the scoring in the third on a three-run double by JT Schwartz. Schwartz, who drove in four runs in the series opener on Tuesday, capped a rally that began with two outs and nobody on base.

Rowdy Jordan, making his first start of the series, hit solo homer, his second of the year, to give Brooklyn a 4-0 lead in the fifth inning.

BlueClaws starter Griff McGarry gave up four runs in five innings. Andrew Baker (2-0) threw a scoreless inning in relief.

In addition to Rojas' three hits, Jared Carr and Stewart had two apiece.

The teams continue their series on Thursday night at 7:05 pm. RHP Cristian Hernandez starts for Jersey Shore.
