Berg Returns to Blades

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that Florida has re-signed forward Reggie Berg. Berg was the second leading scorer in the ECHL during the 2004 post season registering 19 points in 16 games while helping the Blades capture their first Eastern Conference championship. During the 2003-04 regular season, the Anoka, Minnesota native notched over a point a game scoring 47 points in 40 games. He is highly ranked in several Everblades all-time records including third in points (173), third in goals (84), third in assists (89), first in +/- with a +56 and third in playoff scoring with 26 points.

"I am excited be back as a part of the Blades. I've been with the organization for the better part of four years and my wife and I have made SW Florida our home. I cannot wait for the season to start in October" stated Berg on Tuesday afternoon.

Reggie is the sixth player added to the roster by Florida for the upcoming 2004-05 campaign joining forwards Keith Anderson, Brandon Coalter, Chris Lee and defenseman Mark White and Tom Reimann.
