Bees to Conduct Kids Clinic for The Sharing Place

SALT LAKE CITY - Salt Lake Bees players Jeremy Berg, Roberto Lopez, Trent Oeltjen and Matt Shoemaker will conduct a baseball clinic, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, for 50 youth from The Sharing Place at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22 at Spring Mobile Ballpark.

The clinic will feature kids from The Sharing Place, a program which provides grief support groups for children ages 3-18 in the Salt Lake City area. The kids will participate in baseball drills on the field, take a tour of the stadium and clubhouse facilities, and collect player autographs.

The Bees continue an eight-game homestand tonight at 6:35 p.m. against the Sacramento River Cats at Spring Mobile Ballpark. Tonight is "The Sandlot Night" featuring cast members available for photographs with fans during the game and a postgame showing of the hit film.
