Beck Named USHL Defenseman of the Week

FARGO, ND - The USHL announced today that Fargo Force defenseman Noah Beck has been named Defenseman of the Week.

In week 8 of the USHL season, Beck picked up two goals and two assists in two winning matches against the Madison Capitols.

In Thursday night's 7-1 win, he tallied two assists. Then in Friday night's game, Beck scored two goals, including the tying goal in the third period and the overtime game winner to seal the 3-2 win for the Force. Both of Beck's goals came on powerplays, and were his first USHL goals, to go with his five assists overall. Beck is tied for 15th among USHL defensemen with seven points.

Prior to the USHL and the Force, Beck spent last season with the St. Michael's Buzzers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). In 54 games, he tallied 25 points (one goal, 24 assists).

The Richmond Hill, ON, CAN native is committed to Clarkson University is Potsdam, New York.
