
Beavers Go Green For Upcoming Homestand

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers return home for a four-game series against the Salt Lake Bees at PGE Park. Starting Saturday, the Beavers celebrate Go Green Week as they take on the Pacific Coast League-leading Bees.
Portland's second homestand of the 2008 season is highlighted by Go Green Week presented by Esurance. Throughout the four-game set, the first 500 fans at each game receive reusable grocery bags.
The upcoming homestand features the Beavers' third of 20 games broadcast on FSN this season. The third game of the series against the Bees on April 21 will be televised live at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the Beavers' series against Salt Lake, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, are available through the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (503) 224-4400. Portland opens a four-game series against the Bees at PGE Park. Celebrating Go Green Week, presented by Esurance, the first 500 fans receive a reusable grocery bag on a Fred Meyer Super Giveaway Saturday.
Sunday, April 20
Go Green Week - Beavers vs. Salt Lake - 2:05 p.m.
The Beavers play host to Salt Lake for the second game in a four-game set on an American Family Insurance Kids Sunday. The first 500 fans at PGE Park receive a reusable grocery bag as the Beavers celebrate Go Green Week presented by Esurance. Before the game, kids have the opportunity to get player autographs on the Fred Meyer Family Deck, and after the game, kids are invited to run the bases at PGE Park, presented by Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle's Restaurant.
Monday, April 21
Go Green Week - Beavers vs. Salt Lake - 7:05 p.m.
Portland continues its four-game series against the Bees at PGE Park as it celebrates Go Green Week. The first 500 fans in attendance receive reusable grocery bags courtesy of Esurance.
Tuesday, April 22
Go Green Week - Beavers vs. Salt Lake - 7:05 p.m.
The Beavers conclude Go Green Week, presented by Esurance, with the fourth and final game of the homestand against Salt Lake. The first 500 fans receive a reusable grocery bag. The Newby Elementary School choir is scheduled to sing the National Anthem.
