BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - David Vallorani scored a pair of goals and Brandon Marino had three points as the Brampton Beast defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 6-1 on Marvel night.

The Brampton Beast took on the Cincinnati Cyclones for the first time in the 2018-19 season. It was a Saturday night contest live from the CAA Centre. The first period began with the Brampton Beast applying immediate pressure. The Canadian franchise was rewarded with a 1-0 lead courtesy of Anthony Beauregard shortly after.

Cincinnati Cyclones starter Jonas Johansson made the initial save on Jackson Leef but Beauregard was in the right place to send the rebound home at 7:21. It was the Quebec native's first goal in a Beast uniform.

Not long after, David Vallorani gave Brampton a 2-0 lead. The Hamilton native finished off a perfect tic-tac-toe play with Brandon Marino and David Pacan for his second of the season.

The second period saw the Cyclones break up Etienne Marcoux's shutout bid with a breakaway goal at 2:18. The slick forward was able to lift the shot over the shoulder of the Quebec native to pull the Cyclones into the game.

Brampton didn't sit back however and was able able to restore their four-goal lead with the first of the year from Beast captain Brandon Marino. The Beast all-time scoring leader was able to rifle a shot past Johansson to give Brampton a 5-1 lead at 10:52. Assists went to David Pacan and Aaron Luchuk.
