Donaghey then helped set up Brent Pedersen for a power-play goal at 15:53, as Pedersen redirected Donaghey's point shot past Buffalo for his fourth goal of the season.
Shaw scored an additional power-play goal at the 3:07 mark for his fourth tally of the season as well.
Boes stopped all 36 shots he faced for the win in just his second professional start; Buffalo made 28 saves on 32 shots against in the loss for Greenville.
