Beast Add Defenseman Jeremy Beaudry to Roster

BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Beast Hockey Club added to their roster today by signing defenseman Jeremy Beaudry. Beaudry will join the team immediately in preparations for their season opening game Friday, October 24th.
"I'm excited to see him play" said Beast Head Coach Brent Hughes. "Jeremy is a solid puck moving defenseman. He sees the ice very good. Anyone who puts up over 50 points in a season especially as a defenseman that's oat to say something."
Beaudry comes to the Beast fresh off of a stellar junior career. The 20-year-old spent four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior League, increasing his point totals in each of his four seasons.
Beaudry played parts of two seasons with the Victoriaville Tigres, and then split the rest of his career between the Sherbrooke Phoenix, Quebec Remparts, and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. In his final year of junior, Beaudry scored 19 goals and picked up 34 assists for 53 points in 60 games.
"Brampton is a great town and it seems like a great place to play. The rink, room and coaching staff is great. The players are all good guys who have made me feel very welcome," said Beaudry. "The team spirit is great, we're going to have a great year "
