Eric Fehr led the way with two goals as HERSHEY defeated the Norfolk Admirals 3-2 at GIANT Center Saturday night.
Fehr opened the scoring with his first professional goal at 8:10 of the first period to give the BEARS a 1-0 lead. Brooks Laich added his second goal of the season before the end of the first to stake HERSHEY to a 2-0 lead, then Fehr scored his second of the contest 1:03 into the second. Norfolk rallied with goals from Jim Henkel and Martin St. Pierre to close within one, but could get no closer. Kirk Daubenspeck won his BEARS debut, making 32 saves. Fehr was named the game's number one star, Daubenspeck was number two and Laich was number three.
The BEARS travel to face Binghamton Friday night at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Face-off is at 7:05 p.m. HERSHEY hosts the Hartford Wolf Pack next Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
