Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack are excited to announce that they have continued their partnership with Bayshore Broadcasting to carry its games on Bear Radio for the 2025-26 season with some changes coming to the airwaves. Starting in September Attack fans will be able to follow their favourite home team on the FM dial on CFOS's new home 89.3FM. New to this season, fans will not only be able to catch the Attack's 34 road games, but if they are not able to attend a home game they can tune into Matt Hermiz on Bear Radio for all home games, which will also include an extended post game show for the ride home, along with other features.

"Having Bear Radio cover home games has been a discussion for a long time, but space has always been the one thing that has held us back" said the Attack's Manager, Marketing & Communications, Greg Hoddinott. "After meeting with Peter, Rebecca, Krystal and Matt, we think we have found a location that will work for them that will allow for a quality broadcast. The expanded post game show will be a nice addition and provide fans with an opportunity to hear about the game on their drives home or while waiting to leave the parking lot."

"The radio stations move to the FM dial is something we were very supportive of from day 1. This will allow our game broadcasts to reach a wider area and be more realiable. Our fan base encompasses much of Grey, Bruce and Huron counties, most of which will now have access to this, when they are unable to attend games and keeping our fans connected with our team is important to the continued success of our organization" added Hoddinott.

Bear Radio will be live on 89.3 CFOS starting with the Attack's season opener in London on Friday, September 19th, while they will broadcast their first home game on Saturday, September 27th.
