FRISCO, TEXAS (June 19, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders return to Dr Pepper Ballpark for a four-game home stand against the Midland RockHounds (Oakland Athletics) starting Sunday, June 21 and continuing through Wednesday, June 24. The Riders will host four straight days of fun, affordable family entertainment, unique ballpark promotions, tasty food and beverage options, and the future stars of the Texas Rangers in action.
Sunday's 6:05 p.m. start and Wednesday's 11:05 a.m. first pitch are the exceptions to the RoughRiders' standard 7:05 p.m. game times.
Below is the day-by-day rundown of the promotional activities for the June 21-24 home stand.
SUNDAY, JUNE 21 (6:05 p.m. vs. Midland)
- BBQ Jersey Apron Giveaway - To celebrate Father's Day, the first 1,500 men (age 18 and older) will receive a free RoughRiders BBQ jersey apron
- Kids Sunday FunDay, featuring a Pre-Game Catch on the Field from approximately 3-3:30, $1 Ice Cream Sandwiches all game long, and other kids-themed activities
- Post-Game Fireworks Show
MONDAY, JUNE 22 (7:05 p.m. vs. Midland)
- Big Money Monday - One fan in attendance will be selected as the RoughRiders' "Big Money" contestant with a chance to win a $50,000 jackpot based on a fun, interactive, on-field game of skill
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
TUESDAY, JUNE 23 (7:05 p.m. vs. Midland)
- Principal Financial Dreams Tour - Fans can meet Texas Rangers' great Mickey Tettleton. The first two thousand (2,000) fans will receive a free, limited edition Mickey Tettleton baseball card. Fans will also have the chance to win a regulation home plate signed by RoughRiders players.
- Taco Tuesday -- $2 tacos available at concession stands all game long, plus select $3 draft beers and 1/2 price margaritas from 6-8 p.m.
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 (11:05 a.m. vs. Midland)
- Super Splash Day! - Guaranteed to be hot, kids can cool down with fun splash stations and water inflatable's located around the ballpark.
- Wiener Wednesdays - Delicious $1 hot dogs all game long
- Kids Run the Bases following the game
