BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox host the inaugural Charity 5K and Kids Fun Run Sunday, July 1 beginning at 8 a.m. Prince George's County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III will be participating in the event. Online registration for the event is open until Friday, June 29 and walk-up registration the day of the event will be accepted. Registration for the Baysox 5K is $35 and registration for the Kids Fun Run is $25 with the proceeds benefitting the Bowie Health Center, Bowie Police Explorers and Louie's Holiday Hope Project. Online registration is available by visiting www.dcrunningclub.com.
